In 1981 Roland Shaul started Allied Information Networks with an overnight network for John Deere Dealers to buy and sell parts, attachments, and equipment. Dealers called in to Allied with their requests over the phone and then received next day via a tele-printer a list of want-to-buys.
In 1983 a new overnight network was created for farm equipment salvage yards to buy and sell used parts and attachments. Dealers from that network started the National Tractor Parts Dealers Association.
In 1984 Telequip a construction equipment salvage yard network was purchased by Allied. Telequip used state of the art satellite technology which was also incorporated into the farm network giving dealers a choice between instant and overnight communication.
In 1996 Allied began developing its business management software designed for the special needs of recyclers. Today recyclers throughout the US and Canada use software developed by Allied to run their day to day operations.
Allied continues to be a family owned business with three generations currently involved in the business. Allied employs 11 full time employees with its main office located in Lakeport, CA.
Allied prides itself on its outstanding customer support and business technology innovations that help recyclers add to their bottom line.
