History of Allied Information Networks, Inc.

Allied Information Networks (AIN) is a family-owned business that provides software and services to the construction and farm equipment industry. The company was founded in 1981 by Roland Shaul, who started with an overnight network for John Deere dealers to buy and sell parts, attachments, and equipment.

In 1983, AIN created a new overnight network for farm equipment salvage yards to buy and sell used parts and attachments. Dealers from that network started the National Tractor Parts Dealers Association (NTPDA).

In 1984, AIN purchased Telequip, a construction equipment salvage yard network. Telequip used state-of-the-art satellite technology, which AIN also incorporated into its farm network. This gave dealers a choice between instant and overnight communication.

In 1996, AIN began developing its business management software designed for the special needs of parts dealers. Today, parts dealers throughout the US and Canada use software developed by AIN to run their day-to-day operations.

AIN continues to be a family-owned business with three generations currently involved in the company. AIN employs 10 full-time employees with its main office located in Lakeport, CA.

AIN prides itself on its outstanding customer support and business technology innovations that help parts dealers add to their bottom line.
